What does this opportunity mean for riders?
Pre-Selection:
- You and your personal horse will be flown to the Netherlands at no cost for a four-week trial period
- You will undergo numerous judging sessions, precisely 135 in total, ensuring a thorough evaluation at each level
- To ensure accurate and unbiased results, you will be judged by a panel of professional individuals and staff with Olympic-level experience
- The judging day will replicate a competition-like atmosphere, the Judges will evaluate you based on a scale of 1-10 across various aspects of your performance, such as position, accuracy, rhythm, and feeling.
- The judging day focus shifts away from speed or winning.
- The judges will give you feedback after every judging day, which will aid in enhancing your performance of the upcoming weeks
- You can earn extra points for demonstrating aspects such as, strong horsemanship skills and maintaining a positive mentality throughout the competition.
- Each week, you’ll receive a copy of your score results to track your performance progress.
- Each judging day contributes to your overall score, as the scores from these days are added up
- Progression to Team B is based on being among the top four highest scorers
- 3 Male & 1 Female rider will progress to team B
Post-Selection:
- Each rider will have a tailored plan based on their level
- You will have at least 2 quality horses that match your taste with the acception of the purchasing committee
- You will have your own personal team to encourage flexibility of Team B. example: you’re competing in usa while your team mate is competing in Europe
- A long term professional championship trainer will be assisting you at all times
- You will not have the same level of pressure of those in the A team, which means you could work less stress free
- All your expenses will be paid while preforming in the team
- You will have a decent monthly Salary
- Once the judges find you capable of jumping ranking classes consistently, you will progress to Team A, where you will be supplied with your team of GP horses with experience in the (155-170) level.
Terms
Withdrawals
If a rider decides to withdraw from the program after accepting their place but before its completion, they are obligated to reimburse all costs incurred.
Injury Of Horse
If a rider’s horse sustains an injury, they will be automatically provided with a replacement horse from Blue Atlantic, ensuring continuity in the program without any additional cost.
